A product of Queens and Coney Island, Brooklyn, Frank has an intense love for New York (especially its people and its parks!), NYC-based nonprofits, the capital markets, wellness/fitness, and philanthropy.
After graduating from Manhattan’s prestigious Regis High School and later, Yale University, Frank worked for NYC’s Parks legendary Commissioner Henry Stern before spending over a decade working on Wall Street. While there, he got heavily involved in NY’s nonprofit scene, starting his own nonprofit. When he decided to leave his Wall Street trading job and start a for-profit business with a charitable mission, the collision of his passions led to the creation of Queens-Based Coffeed Corporation and various other for-profit ventures. Frank has been the public face of COFFEED/GLOW and its brands and a passionate spokesperson for companies doing well by doing good.
He was named the recipient of the Special Innovation Award for Excellence in Corporate Philanthropy and Community Engagement By City & State Reports, as well as a member of The Responsible 100. In addition, he has been recognized as a top business leader in NYC, including the LIC’s Business Honoree in 2018.
Frank has developed a reputation as one of the top equity and options traders in NYC. He has enjoyed a decade+ career trading/managing on some of the most prestigious trading desks in America. Frank is an expert in micro-market structure and is well versed (and has created) some of the the most advanced trading strategies – ranging from quantitative to momentum/technical. Frank has been an active follower and market participant since April 1998.
Frank has spent the last few years working closely at The Variety Boys and Girls Club of Queens as an Executive Board Member and on the Executive Committee Capital Campaign and Development. Frank has been integral in organizing, structuring, and orchestrating the development of a $200+ million new club and apartment development – this will serve as the hub of the Boys and Girls Club for the next century or more. Frank is also currently the President of the Queens Council On The Arts. where he champions the rich diversity of artists and their work.
Frank is a frequent speaker on socially responsible companies and has been involved on various nonprofit boards and committees, a sample of which consist/consisted of: The Yale Alumni NonProfit Alliance (founding board member), New York Restoration Project (Chancellor’s Committee), City Growers (Board Member), Queens Council on the Arts (Board Trustee and Treasurer), Centre for Social Innovation (Board Member), Washington Park (Harriet Tubman Square) Conservancy, Friends of the East River Esplanade (Board Member), Variety Boys and Girls Club of Queens (Board Member) and others.
He is also a proud Legacy Lululemon Ambassador and he highlights the importance of health and positive mindset in all aspects of life. He is a frequent contributor and panelist on the importance of a well-balanced life, encompassing nutrition, fitness, and optimistic outlook.
He lives in Manhattan with his beautiful wife Diane and their three beautiful daughters, Joanna Eva, Eliana, and Anastasia.
